As a Commercial Property and Casualty Producer at INGUARD, you will be a dynamic sales professional responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients through networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and risk analyses to determine appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Present and sell insurance products and services, negotiating terms to close sales effectively.
  • Regularly review and assess existing clients’ insurance needs, recommending coverage adjustments or additional products as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting clients’ insurance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy details in our management system.
  • Maintain knowledge of various insurance carriers, products, and underwriting guidelines to match clients with the best coverage options.
  • Work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other insurance professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Valid Indiana state insurance producer license in Property and Casualty.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
